"The Land of In-Between" is an intuitive abstract work. It is painted in acrylic on canvas and measures 66 x 66 cm. This work was created after I had been through a health problem that had lasted for a long time. I felt like I was living in a world of my own. Neither here nor there. This picture was not planned it evolved as I worked, and my illness must have been playing on my mind. I noticed that I had included flags once again, something that popped up in my work from time to time. They are Tibetan Prayer Flags that have mantras on each flag. They are meant to send out health and good wishes to all pervading space. It is a beautiful and happy painting with lovely vibrant colours and is a reminder to me that all things must pass, and of course they did.!
