30.5cm (W) x 40.5cm (H) x 3.8cm (D) 'Quint' is a painting primarily created with paper pieces. Inspired by one of my all time favourite characters and films. Quint from Jaws. The paper elements have been taken from discarded or damaged books, junk mail, packaging materials, brochures and vintage magazines. The paper pieces combined with some painted areas create a layered textural surface. 3 coats of gloss varnish have been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece. The artwork has a wire at the back, the edges are collaged​/​painted, so it is ready to hang.
